Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Schlemper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joanna Piechocka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schlemper comes to the ring accompanied by De Borest. Piechocka has chosen Kill YOU !!! as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Schlemper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joanna Piechocka! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Piechocka throws a right and a left that Schlemper avoids nicely. Piechocka has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nice sprawl there from Piechocka as Schlemper shoots in. Schlemper has his takedown stuffed and Piechocka counters with a nice uppercut. Piechocka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Schlemper feinted with a counter takedown. Piechocka keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabricio Schlemper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Piechocka scores with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schlemper dives in and grabs Piechocka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Piechocka pushes down on Schlemper's head and hops out. Schlemper shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Schlemper wants to work for an arm triangle but Piechocka is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Piechocka tries to kick Schlemper off but Schlemper keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Schlemper missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Piechocka stuffs the takedown attempt from Schlemper. Schlemper gets slowly back to his feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Schlemper. Schlemper looks for a takedown but Piechocka sprawls well. Schlemper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Noted by the judges no doubt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Schlemper is defended easily by Piechocka. Schlemper sets himself, and Piechocka steps forward looking for the clinch! Schlemper avoids it this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Piechocka looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Schlemper dives in and grabs Piechocka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Piechocka pushes down on Schlemper's head and hops out. Piechocka has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Piechocka lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Schlemper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Piechocka pinned against the ropes. Piechocka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Piechocka misses with the combination.

Schlemper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Schlemper gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Piechocka counters with a two punch combo. Piechocka stuffs the takedown attempt from Schlemper. Schlemper gets slowly back to his feet. Piechocka connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Piechocka closes the distance and lands a one-two. Piechocka changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piechocka rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Schlemper moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Schlemper attempts a counter takedown but Piechocka avoids it well and moves away. Joanna Piechocka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice sprawl there from Piechocka as Schlemper shoots in. Schlemper misses with a takedown attempt and Piechocka counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schlemper keeping moving, preventing Piechocka from controlling successfully. Schlemper escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Piechocka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Schlemper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Piechocka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Piechocka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Piechocka trying to control but Schlemper is working from the bottom.

Piechocka is pressing down on Schlemper's thigh, looking to free his foot. Schlemper is holding on for now. Piechocka wants to stand up but Schlemper is controlling the position.
Piechocka seems to be working for a kimura but Schlemper defends the submission attempt. Piechocka decides to stand up. Fabricio Schlemper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Schlemper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Piechocka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Schlemper somewhat. Schlemper showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Piechocka.

Piechocka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Schlemper drives through with a takedown into Piechocka's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Piechocka trying to keep a closed guard but Schlemper is proving a slippery customer.
Schlemper won't allow Piechocka to get back to his feet. Schlemper advances position into side control! Piechocka tries to control but Schlemper manages to take his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schlemper avoiding Piechocka 's attempts to control his hands. Schlemper is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Piechocka has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Piechocka tries to escape the position.

Piechocka defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Schlemper's arms. Piechocka is in bad spot here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Schlemper sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Piechocka taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Fabricio Schlemper! Fabricio Schlemper made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Eu já falei sou foda,quem quiser se fuder é so marcar uma luta comigo'. Joanna Piechocka was interviewed post fight and said 'Szczęście ratuje ludzi, gry braknie im odwagi. Wrócę silniejsza !!!'.
