Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert De Noteboom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Noteboom comes to the cage accompanied by Erika - I Don't Know. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
30 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert De Noteboom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Butcher! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butcher falls off balance throwing a combination
and De Noteboom counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. De Noteboom throws a big right hand that misses. Butcher is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Butcher looking to control.
De Noteboom is fighting to break Butcher's control of his arms but Butcher is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Hammerfist, elbow! yells De Noteboom's corner. There ya go! There ya go! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Noteboom postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. De Noteboom with a flurry of punches that miss. Butcher pulls De Noteboom in close to his closed guard and prevents De Noteboom from doing any damage or advancing position. Butcher preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Butcher trying to keep a closed guard but De Noteboom is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butcher utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. De Noteboom keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Butcher's head. De Noteboom being controlled here momentarily. De Noteboom throwing strikes but missing. Butcher is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Butcher controlling the position. De Noteboom advances to half guard. Butcher holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Noteboom takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. De Noteboom drops an elbow to the side of Butcher's head. De Noteboom working over Butcher with some ground and pound. Butcher looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Noteboom seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Butcher does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. De Noteboom throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Butcher is looking to control De Noteboom's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Butcher avoid being mounted? De Noteboom thows a huge punch but Butcher dodges it nicely.
De Noteboom thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Butcher's head. De Noteboom throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. De Noteboom throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Butcher trying to control but De Noteboom postures up.
De Noteboom sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Butcher defending well though. Butcher is controlling De Noteboom's trapped leg to prevent De Noteboom from advancing to side control. We've been hearing that De Noteboom has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. De Noteboom throwing shots but Butcher is blocking nicely. De Noteboom scores with a couple of good hammerfists. De Noteboom missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Butcher is looking to improve his position.
Butcher wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Butcher desperately trying to maintain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butcher is refusing to be controlled, as De Noteboom sits in half guard. De Noteboom not landing any meaningful shots this time. Butcher is looking to control De Noteboom's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Butcher avoid being mounted? Butcher might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control De Noteboom haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. De Noteboom has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. De Noteboom looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Butcher is trying to control but can't.
