Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jermaine Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ada Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barksdale comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't No Sunshine- DMX. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Barksdale.
Barksdale takes one on the button.
Reyes throws a body shot but no joy.
Jab by Barksdale.
Reyes stuffs the takedown.
Reyes lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Reyes tries to clinch but Barksdale moves away
and Barksdale counters with a body kick that stops Reyes in his tracks momentarily.
Reyes lands with an overhand left.
Reyes misses with a low kick as Barksdale jumps back.
We've been hearing reports that Barksdale has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Reyes lands a big uppercut and Barksdale crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Barksdale looks OK. Reyes waves Barksdale back to his feet!
Barksdale is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reyes tries to land a front kick but Barksdale steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Reyes lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Barksdale crumples to the floor! Reyes milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ada Reyes!
