Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Kolder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kolder has chosen Rocky Theme Song as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tim Kolder was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles Boyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tim Kolder! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolder is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Boyer's half guard. Kolder wants to get back to his feet.
Kolder is taking a breather. Boyer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Boyer is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kolder jumps into side control! Kolder blocks the strikes from Boyer.
Kolder in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boyer sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kolder is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Boyer is staying active underneath Kolder, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kolder blocks the strikes from Boyer.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Kolder is going to stand back up.
Kolder is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Boyer! Kolder looking to ground and pound but Boyer is blocking nicely. Kolder takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boyer flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Boyer throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Boyer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kolder looking to ground and pound but Boyer is blocking nicely. Kolder raining down hammerfists from mount. Kolder misses with a head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boyer is squirming around, avoiding Kolder's attempts to control the action. Boyer throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Boyer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Poor strikes thrown by Kolder there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kolder controlling the pace for now. Kolder is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Boyer can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kolder with a couple of short strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Kolder there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolder trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kolder throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kolder throwing strikes here but Boyer is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Tim Kolder dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Boyer shoots in but no luck this time. Boyer takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kolder misses with a combination
and Boyer counters with a left and a right that stings Kolder. Charles Boyer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kolder closes the distance and clinches. Boyer is trying to break the clinch but Kolder has him pressed against the cage. Kolder holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Boyer fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Tim Kolder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kolder throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boyer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kolder is in Boyer's guard. Kolder throws a strike but Boyer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolder escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boyer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kolder looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boyer is one step ahead there. Kolder looking for a guillotine here but Boyer defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Boyer stands up over Kolder, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boyer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kolder lets loose with a powerful body kick. Boyer will feel that in the morning. Kolder throws a wild body kick that Boyer sees coming a mile off. Kolder lands with a kick to the ribs.
Boyer fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Boyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kolder cracks a nice hook into Boyer's ribs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kolder tries to close the distance and clinch but Boyer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kolder darts in and clinches Boyer up against the cage. Boyer can't break the clinch.
Kolder has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Boyer uses from the top position. Kolder trying to keep a closed guard but Boyer is proving a slippery customer.
Kolder bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boyer's guard.
Kolder is breathing heavily. Kolder throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Boyer works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kolder stands and steps away. Boyer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kolder scores with a leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kolder, right into the meat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolder lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Kolder manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Boyer on his heels. He'll look to pass Boyer's guard now, I'm sure. Kolder drops back, looking for a kneebar! Boyer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Boyer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Boyer!
Kolder has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This has been an exciting period of action! Kolder is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Boyer has just dragged him back down to the mat. Boyer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kolder keeps working. You can see the frustration on Kolder's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kolder is not content to let Boyer control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Kolder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Kolder closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Boyer's guard. Kolder trying to control but Boyer is working from the bottom. Boyer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Boyer is looking for a triangle but Kolder pushes his legs off easily.
Kolder has gone for a leg lock! Boyer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kolder's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Boyer wants to control from the top but Kolder keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boyer throws an elbow that misses. Kolder uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boyer's guard. Nice move by Kolder! Kolder in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kolder pushing down on Boyer's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Tim Kolder has got the better of the ground game so far. Boyer tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Kolder looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Kolder trying to control from half guard but Boyer is working away. Kolder missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kolder has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Boyer pushes Kolder off looking to stand but Kolder dives back in and keeps control.
Boyer flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kolder throws a quick inside leg kick. Kolder stuffs the takedown. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kolder ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kolder tries to clinch but Boyer moves out of range. Boyer tries to keep at a distance but Kolder has taken the fight into the clinch. Kolder successfully pulls guard.
Kolder wants to stand up but Boyer is controlling him. Boyer trying to control but Kolder is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolder looking to control.
Kolder has Boyer pulled in close to control his posture. Boyer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boyer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Kolder is trying to control the position but Boyer postures up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kolder gets a takedown into half guard. Kolder tries to stand but can't do so whilst Boyer controls his leg.
And that's the end of the fight! Tim Kolder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kolder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Tim Kolder! In his post fight interview, Tim Kolder started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
