Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ebanij Nasos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlovski comes to the cage accompanied by Now I Lay Thee Down by Machine Head. Nasos has chosen Military Soviet Hymn as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vladimir Arlovski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ebanij Nasos! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Arlovski does no damage. Arlovski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nasos connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Arlovski to the floor! Nasos dives in looking for the finish!
Arlovski is rocked!
It looks like Vladimir Arlovski has been cut. Arlovski is trying to control but can't.
Oh Arlovski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Arlovski wants to improve his position but Nasos is controlling well.
Nasos wants to get back to his feet.
Arlovski seems to have got his legs back now. Arlovski tries to roll over but Nasos keeps him under control. Nasos is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nasos throws a sloppy head kick and Arlovski moves out of range easily. Nasos looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Arlovski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Arlovski gets a takedown into half guard. Nasos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nasos looks like he's trying to stand up.
Arlovski wants to pass to mount but Nasos is defending the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nasos is trying to stand up here but Arlovski is controlling him well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Arlovski in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arlovski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nasos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Arlovski.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nasos has one foot on Arlovski's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nasos avoids a punch combination nicely.
Arlovski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Arlovski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nasos sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nasos throws a series of punches but Arlovski avoids them all with ease. Nasos jabs at Arlovski's body. Nasos throws an overhand right that lands on Arlovski's shoulder, as Arlovski tries to avoid the shot. Jab, jab by Nasos - just one landing. Nasos connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Arlovski momentarily.
Arlovski is breathing heavily. Nasos misses the jab. Arlovski changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nasos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Nasos wants to get back to his feet. Arlovski misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nasos is not content to let Arlovski control the position. Nasos is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Sloppy strikes there by Arlovski. Arlovski decides to take the fight back to the feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Nasos throws a head kick that misses. Nasos throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice jab there from Nasos. Ebanij Nasos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Arlovski cracks Nasos with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nasos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Arlovski sees it coming and avoids it easily. Arlovski fails to land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ebanij Nasos dominated that round. The cut man is working on Vladimir Arlovski's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Nasos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Arlovski takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. A punch combination from Arlovski misses. Arlovski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Arlovski lands in his opponent's guard. Arlovski wants to control from the top but Nasos keeps moving. Arlovski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nasos swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nasos wants to get back to his feet but Arlovski is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Nasos is breathing heavily. Arlovski trying to control the position from guard on top but Nasos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arlovski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nasos wants to stand and escape but Arlovski is having none of it. Arlovski tries to free his leg and advance position but Nasos is retaining full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A telegraphed right hand from Nasos misses the target. Arlovski looks to land a combination but Nasos avoids it well. Nasos circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Arlovski drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Nasos follows Arlovski to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ebanij Nasos!
