Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Carlo Delaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sven Feddersen! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Feddersen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Delaney pinned against the cage. Delaney gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Feddersen clinches. Delaney is trying to break the clinch but Feddersen has him pressed against the cage. Delaney tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Feddersen avoids it. Feddersen has Delaney pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Delaney manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Delaney tries a body shot but Feddersen blocks it.
Delaney takes a knee to the side of the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Feddersen blocks an elbow strike. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Delaney just misses with a elbow thrown towards Feddersen's brow. Delaney is trying to push Feddersen away but Feddersen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Feddersen lands a body shot. Feddersen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Feddersen throws a half hearted mid kick. Delaney seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Feddersen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Delaney is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Feddersen closes the distance and pushes Delaney back into the cage. Feddersen missing with knees to the body.
Feddersen jumps guard but Delaney turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Carlo Delaney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sven Feddersen. Delaney slows down the pace here.

Feddersen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Delaney clinches with his opponent.
Feddersen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Delaney fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Delaney will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Feddersen misses with a body kick. Delaney blocks a head kick by Feddersen.
Delaney went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Feddersen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Delaney to the mat! Delaney manages to get full guard. Delaney looking for a triangle here. Feddersen is fighting it but it looks tight! Delaney pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Feddersen is tapping out - this one is all over!
