The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reincarneited closes the distance and clinches up with melton, looking for a takedown. Reincarneited pushes melton against the cage but melton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Reincarneited seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but melton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
I looks like Reincarneited might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

melton is trying to control but can't.
melton is in trouble now - Reincarneited has advanced to mount!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Reincarneited connects with a nice short shot to melton's temple.

and Reincarneited counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps melton thinking.
melton ducks right into an uppercut from Reincarneited.

Reincarneited decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
melton on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reincarneited uses his free foot to push down on melton's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for melton.
Reincarneited lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reincarneited looking to isolate an arm here. melton doesn't see it coming and as Reincarneited extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Reincarneited!
