Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Ross has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Ross! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Pain! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ross gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pain manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Pain is looking for a sweep. Ross is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pain is trying to maintain the position but Ross is very close to passing his half guard. Ross is looking to advance position but Pain won't allow it. Pain looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pain wants to improve his position but Ross is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pain misses with a takedown attempt and Ross counters with a nice double leg into guard. Pain has an active guard here but Ross has managed to pass into half guard.
Ross tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Pain. Pain regains full guard. Nicely done. Pain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ross can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pain looks gassed! Pain has momentary wrist control but Ross slips an elbow through the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pain controls Ross momentarily but Ross frees himself. Pain is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Ross throws and elbow that misses. Pain uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ross's guard. Nice move by Pain! Pain would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ross has Pain pulled in close to control his posture. That's three minutes gone in the round. Ross keeping moving, preventing Pain from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Ross fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pain, pushing him back against the cage. Ross breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ross tries to clinch up. Pain moves into the clinch. Ross pulls guard effortlessly. Ross knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pain on the ground. Pain wants to control from the top but Ross keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ross manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ross wants to finish this one by submission but Pain is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ross. Ross lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ross looking to control and managing it successfully. Pain is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Ross dominated that round. That's time! Ross's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pain tries for a takedown but Ross circles away easily and Ross counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pain won't be happy with that. Pain tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ross wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ross is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Pain's shoulder. That is not cool. Pain is trying to work for a sweep but Ross has mounted him! Ross raining down shots from the mount! Pain is in a horrible position here. Ross smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Pain tries to reverse the position but Ross maintains control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ross content just to control the position here. Pain can't escape the position.
Pain tries to hold on but Ross postures up. Pain really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ross lands a heavy elbow. Pain manages to regain half guard. Good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pain is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pain is looking to control Ross's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pain avoid being mounted? Ross wants to take a breather but Pain is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pain wants to get back to his feet. Pain is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ross pulls his head out easily. Pain wants to improve his position but Ross is controlling well.
Pain throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ross gets a takedown into half guard. Pain is not content to let Ross control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pain wants to improve his position but Ross is controlling well.
Pain is refusing to be controlled, as Ross sits in half guard. Ross throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ross missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Ross prevents Pain from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Ross dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Pain has his takedown stuffed and Ross counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pain won't be happy with that. Ross trying to control the position but Pain is working away. Pain is trying to improve his position. Ross is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pain knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jack Ross overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ross tries to score with some ground and pound. Pain controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain sneaks back into half guard. Pain is pressing down on Ross's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ross avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pain looking for a sweep. Not yet Pain, not yet. Pain throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ross trying to control the position from guard on top but Pain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pain wants to improve his position but instead Ross has moved into half guard.
Pain works his way to full guard. Good work. Pain not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ross doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ross manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pain trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ross drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pain manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ross has Pain in his guard. Pain stands up from Ross's guard - Pain perhaps looking for a knockout. Pain misses with a takedown and Ross counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pain tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ross stops Pain from standing up. Pain working a defensive guard here.
Pain thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Pain looking to control.
Pain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ross is one step ahead there. Pain is trying to control the position but Ross postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Ross showed his dominance in that final round. Well Ross has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
