Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Dettman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Robbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Dettman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Robbins!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dettman shoots in looking for a takedown. Robbins tries to sprawl out of it but Dettman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robbins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Robbins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dettman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dettman shoots in but no luck this time.

Robbins closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dettman did well to prevent Robbins getting side control.

Robbins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dettman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Robbins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dettman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Robbins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dettman is keeping the position for now.
Robbins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dettman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dettman is looking to stand up but Robbins isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dettman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Robbins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dettman somewhat.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Robbins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Dettman is breathing heavily.

Robbins is stalling here. Dettman is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Robbins seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dettman has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Robbins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Robbins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dettman pinned against the cage. Dettman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Dettman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Robbins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dettman drops down looking for a counter takedown but Robbins sprawls and moves away.
Dettman has been working on his balance at Beast Playground, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Robbins.

Robbins scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Robbins is trying to control the action in half guard but Dettman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Robbins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Dettman is defending against the submission attempts here by Robbins.
Robbins winds up and cracks Dettman with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Dettman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Robbins fights it off and pushes away nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Robbins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dettman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Robbins is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Robbins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Robbins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dettman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Robbins drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dettman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Robbins has Dettman in his guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Robbins can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Robbins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dettman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dylan Robbins seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Dylan Robbins is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Dettman tries to throw a body punch but Robbins avoids it by throwing Dettman back against the cage.

Dylan Robbins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Robbins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
