Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bo Dobbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Charleston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bo Dobbins has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bo Dobbins seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bo Dobbins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Charleston! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dobbins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Charleston swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dobbins wants to clinch. Charleston gets a clinch. Charleston scores with a knee to the head.
Charleston throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Charleston breaks from the clinch.
Charleston fails with a takedown attempt. Dobbins drops down looking for a counter takedown but Charleston sprawls and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Charleston avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dobbins keeps the fight on the outside. Dobbins gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Charleston counters with a one-two to the body.

Dobbins is stalling in the full guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dobbins looking to sit in guard and control but Charleston gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dobbins tries to clinch up but Charleston circles away and keeps his distance. Charleston unleashes a big counter combination but Dobbins bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. The fight stays on the outside here - Dobbins looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dobbins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Charleston thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dobbins's head. Dobbins trying to control but Charleston postures up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Charleston tries to clinch there but Dobbins circles away.

Dobbins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Charleston creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Dobbins pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Charleston connects with a nasty looking knee right to Dobbins's face.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Charleston. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Charleston using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dobbins has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dobbins drops back, looking for a kneebar! Charleston looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Charleston looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Charleston! Charleston is working Dobbins over with some ground and pound from side control. Charleston is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dobbins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Charleston trying to control the position but Dobbins is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Charleston fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Possibly, maybe, no Charleston has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Charleston wants to control but Dobbins is keeping him busy. Charleston sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Dobbins is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

James Charleston showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Charleston swats away the attempt to clinch by Dobbins. Charleston raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Charleston throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Charleston tries to close the distance and clinch but Dobbins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dobbins half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Charleston wants to clinch up but Dobbins keeps it at a distance. James Charleston seems to be getting the better of the standup. Dobbins keeps the fight on the outside. Dobbins throws a series of punches but Charleston avoids them all with ease. Charleston can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dobbins controls the pace. Charleston wants to stand and escape but Dobbins is having none of it. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to James Charleston. Well Charleston has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
