Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasara gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Knees to the body from Vasara.
Vasara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Santana shoots in for a takedown but Vasara shows good takedown defense. Santana tries to keep at a distance but Vasara has taken the fight into the clinch. Vasara breaks the clinch.
Vasara is looking to clinch but Santana is avoiding it.
Nice jab there from Vasara. Santana misses with a straight left. A nice combination there by Vasara.
It looks like Tito Santana has been cut. Vasara tries to clinch but Santana moves out of range. Vasara moves into range and clinches up with Santana. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vasara tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Santana's elbow. Vasara escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vasara keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Santana fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vasara avoids it really well and circles away. As Santana tries to get set, Vasara tries to push him back and clinch up but Santana manages to avoid the attempt. Sami Vasara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Santana.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasara tries to clinch there but Santana circles away.
Santana is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Santana shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vasara as he avoids it easily. It looked like Vasara was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Santana. Santana fails to land the takedown. Vasara with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Vasara fails in his attempt to clinch. Santana shoots and misses and Vasara counters with a stiff right hand. Vasara throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Santana throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vasara counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Santana closes the distance and clinches up with Vasara, looking for a takedown. Santana pushes Vasara against the cage but Vasara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. As Santana tries to get set, Vasara tries to push him back and clinch up but Santana manages to avoid the attempt. Vasara staying out of range there. Santana misses with a takedown attempt and Vasara connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Santana is rocked! Santana fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Santana looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vasara throws a front kick that sends Santana stumbling back into the cage. Whack! Vasara lands a heavy head kick that drops Santana. The ref tackles Vasara to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Santana was done.
