Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed Babak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiri Parata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parata has chosen Rumplestiltskin as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babak looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Parata lands a nice looking body shot.
Babak decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Parata can do anything to dispel that myth.

Babak is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Parata is just riding it out for now. Babak eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Babak has hold of Parata's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Parata seems comfortable defending it but Babak has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Parata is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Parata is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Babak couldn't care less - he's delighted!
