Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoist on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Afanasiev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McCoist counters with a nice body kick.
Afanasiev throws a head kick that misses.
As Afanasiev backs off McCoist throws a huge counter combo but Afanasiev manages to avoid it all.
Afanasiev lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
McCoist moves into range and clinches up with Afanasiev.
Afanasiev is trying to break free.
A frustrated look appears on Afanasiev's face as he tries to break the clinch.
McCoist lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Sergey Afanasiev has been cut.
McCoist pushes Afanasiev back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
McCoist throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Afanasievs head.
McCoist keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Afanasiev's efforts to push away.
McCoist's coach down at MMA Sanok Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McCoist's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
McCoist lands with a left to the head.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Afanasiev lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McCoist has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McCoist and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
McCoist rushes Afanasiev and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Afanasiev has had enough of the clinch but McCoist keeps him there for the moment.
McCoist wants a takedown but no success here.
Afanasiev is trying to force a seperation but McCoist has the dominant position.
McCoist has Afanasiev pressed against the cage, preventing Afanasiev from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Afanasiev wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Afanasiev wants to break free but McCoist has control.
McCoist connects with a knee to the head.
McCoist prevents Afanasiev from breaking the clinch.

McCoist lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Still in the clinch, McCoist scores with a nice short uppercut.

Oh Afanasiev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Afanasiev fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McCoist working the clinch nicely. Afanasiev is working for position but McCoist cracks him with a big knee to the head! Afanasiev crumples up against the cage and McCoist lands two more shots before the ref can save Afanasiev! This one is all over!
