Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marat Tandelov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tandelov has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. On his way into the cage it seems that Marat Tandelov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marat Tandelov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marat Tandelov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edward Brown! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Brown wants to control but Tandelov is keeping him busy. Tandelov is defending against the submission attempts here by Brown.
Brown works his way into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Brown is trying to get an arm triangle but Tandelov is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown trying to control the action but Tandelov is working from the bottom. Brown wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tandelov, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tandelov is not content to let Brown control the position. Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Edward Brown dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Tandelov sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Brown drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tandelov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Brown but great work by Tandelov. Tandelov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Brown sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Tandelov with the ground and pound but Brown regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Tandelov missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brown is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tandelov is trying to control but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tandelov knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Tandelov is not content to let Brown control the position.

Oh, Tandelov has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Brown wants to control but Tandelov postures up. Tandelov postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Brown tries to buck Tandelov off but Tandelov is having none of it. The strikes coming from Tandelov are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Tandelov is trying to ground and pound but Brown uses the momentary lack of control by Tandelov to regain half guard. Brown works his way to full guard. Good work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tandelov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Brown pulls Tandelov in to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Edward Brown will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Brown shoots in and bounces Tandelov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Tandelov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tandelov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brown manages to get himself to full guard.
Brown has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tandelov is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brown. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tandelov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brown is keeping the position for now. Tandelov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Brown is controlling Tandelov's posture. Brown utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tandelov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tandelov with a flurry of punches that miss. Tandelov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Marat Tandelov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tandelov on his heels. He'll look to pass Tandelov's guard now, I'm sure. Brown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Tandelov is retaining full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brown is stalling in the full guard. Edward Brown is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Brown passes easily into side control. Nice work.
