Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Bowie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kolmiokuristus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 300 Violin Orchestra - Jorge Quintero. Kolmiokuristus has chosen bad boy - cascada as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

40 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalle Kolmiokuristus! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowie wants to land a leg kick but Kolmiokuristus is out of range. Kolmiokuristus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bowie pinned against the cage. Bowie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kolmiokuristus fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bowie lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Kalle Kolmiokuristus has been cut. Kolmiokuristus shoots in looking for a takedown but Bowie manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kolmiokuristus's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bowie lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bowie gets caught napping as Kolmiokuristus dives in and scores a takedown. Bowie manages to retain guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kolmiokuristus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bowie keeping full guard, as Kolmiokuristus tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kolmiokuristus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kolmiokuristus connects with a couple of short punches. Kolmiokuristus working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kolmiokuristus chips away with some ground and pound. Bowie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kolmiokuristus tries to roll over but Bowie keeps him under control. That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowie is looking to take a break and control but Kolmiokuristus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kolmiokuristus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've been hearing good reports from Bowie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Kolmiokuristus is concentrating on defense, preventing Bowie from advancing position. Kolmiokuristus is trying to get back to full guard. Kolmiokuristus keeps trying to improve his position. Kolmiokuristus is trying to control but can't.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bowie shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kolmiokuristus eats them both and turns towards Bowie to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Bowie throws a nice looking combination but Kolmiokuristus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Raphael Bowie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kolmiokuristus throws a body shot but no joy. Kolmiokuristus feints and as Bowie raises his hands in defense, Kolmiokuristus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bowie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kolmiokuristus throws a strike but Bowie rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kolmiokuristus looking for a sweep. Not yet Kolmiokuristus, not yet. Kolmiokuristus is still trying to improve position. Bowie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bowie showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bowie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowie passes Kolmiokuristus's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bowie is thwarting Kolmiokuristus's attempts to control the position. Bowie wants to control but Kolmiokuristus is keeping him busy. Bowie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bowie drops an elbow to the side of Kolmiokuristus's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raphael Bowie dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kalle Kolmiokuristus's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kolmiokuristus shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bowie is trying to defend but Kolmiokuristus finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kolmiokuristus is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bowie reverses the position - he's now on top in Kolmiokuristus's guard. Bowie stays in close to Kolmiokuristus's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bowie won't allow Kolmiokuristus to sweep him here. Bowie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bowie takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bowie moves out of range of the strikes. Bowie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kolmiokuristus can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bowie controls the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bowie thumps Kolmiokuristus with a low kick. Horrible takedown attempt by Kolmiokuristus or perhaps it was just good defense by Bowie, which made it look bad. Raphael Bowie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalle Kolmiokuristus. Bowie leaves Kolmiokuristus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kolmiokuristus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bowie has his hands on Kolmiokuristus's head, controlling the position. Bowie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kolmiokuristus missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
