Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boxing Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hardkorowy Koksu!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy misses with a two punch combination.
Boy misses with a body shot.
Koksu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boy tries to bum rush Koksu with a series of wild strikes but Koksu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Boy cracks Koksu with an uppercut from hell and Koksu crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Boy's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boy wanted to stand there but Koksu had control of the position.
Koksu is looking to stand up but Boy isn't so interested in that idea.
Koksu wants to sweep but no luck.
Koksu throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Boy escapes and throws Koksu's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Boy trying to control the position but Koksu is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boy avoids the strikes from the bottom by Koksu.
Koksu sneaks back into half guard.
Koksu is holding on to half guard well.
Boy tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Koksu is trying to stand up here but Boy is controlling him well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boy closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Koksu out cold! Koksu corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Boxing Boy!
