Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nobita Nagasaki!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rand dives in and grabs Nagasaki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nagasaki pushes down on Rand's head and hops out.
Rand gets caught flat footed, as Nagasaki shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Nagasaki in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Rand is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nagasaki stands up and waves to Rand to follow him.
Rand gets the takedown into side control.
Nagasaki is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Rand is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nagasaki is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Rand misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
You can see the frustration on Nagasaki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Nagasaki is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Rand's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Rand seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nagasaki tries to get to full guard but Rand has control of the leg.
Nagasaki is refusing to be controlled, as Rand sits in half guard.
Well, if Rand is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rand trying to mount his opponent but Nagasaki defends it.

Rand seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nagasaki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

and Rand counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Rand looking to sit in guard and control but Nagasaki gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Nagasaki wants to get up but he can't break Rand's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Danny Rand will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Nagasaki scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Nagasaki gets caught napping as Rand dives in and scores a takedown. Nagasaki manages to retain guard.
Nagasaki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Rand tries to get to full guard but Nagasaki has control of the leg.
Nagasaki is keen to just control but Rand is a slippery customer.

Nagasaki wants to stand and escape but instead Rand has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Rand tries to free his leg and advance position but Nagasaki is retaining full guard.
Rand is pushing down on Nagasaki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nagasaki is fighting to maintain full guard but Rand has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rand is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Nagasaki is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
