0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wrestling Boy! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Petty on his heels. He'll look to pass Petty's guard now, I'm sure. Petty tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boy connects with a couple of short punches. Petty throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Boy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Petty manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boy manages to get himself to full guard.
Boy wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Boy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Petty landing some decent shots from guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petty throwing strikes but missing. Petty in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Boy has eaten all the pies!
That's one minute gone in the round. Petty throws a big right hand that misses. Petty preventing the sweep. Boy trying to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Petty. Petty thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Petty throwing strikes but missing. Boy wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Nice cross by Petty. Boy wants to clinch. Boy shoots in and bounces Petty off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Boy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boy is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Petty throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

It looks like Jason Petty has been cut. Boy scoring with punches to the head and body.
Petty is rocked! Boy loads up on a big left hand. Petty felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Boy looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Petty can't hide his disappointment, as Boy celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wrestling Boy!
