Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Noam Chomsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Legionarivs Sakara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chomsky comes to the cage accompanied by System Of A Down BYOB. Sakara has chosen The Rise of Sakara as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Noam Chomsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Legionarivs Sakara! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Eliza Hachem and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakara throws a body punch but Chomsky moves out of range. Legionarivs Sakara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sakara jabs Chomsky to the body, keeping him at a distance. Chomsky misses with a leg kick. Sakara throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sakara misses with a low kick. Sakara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chomsky manages to avoid it. Chomsky lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sakara misses with a straight right. Sakara throws a body punch but Chomsky moves out of range. Chomsky tries to counter by clinching up but Sakara breaks away and moves out of range. Sakara checks a leg kick. Chomsky uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Sakara is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chomsky. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chomsky tries to land a leg kick but Sakara saw it coming and moves away.
Sakara takes a swing at Chomsky's ribcage but misses. Sakara looks to land a left hand but Chomsky moved out of range nicely. Sakara keeps the fight on the outside. Chomsky has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sakara. Sakara is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chomsky rather than just go for the knockout. Sakara has closed the distance and engaged Chomsky in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Chomsky tries a body shot but Sakara blocks it.
Sakara is looking to control Chomsky's arms but Chomsky gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sakara has his back to the cage. Chomsky has a couple of punches blocked by Sakara.

Sakara stalling in the clinch but Chomsky improves position. Chomsky lands an uppercut. Sakara tries to work over Chomsky's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Chomsky misses with some punches.
Chomsky swings wildly with an uppercut but Sakara uses good head movement to avoid it. Chomsky lands with a short shot to the head. Sakara digs a right hand underneath Chomsky's ribcage. Chomsky let out a lung full of air as it connected. Sakara blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sakara is fighting off a takedown attempt but Chomsky is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sakara to the mat. Sakara regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Chomsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Sakara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sakara controls Chomsky momentarily but Chomsky frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sakara working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chomsky. Chomsky wants to pass the guard but Sakara is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sakara wants to sweep but no luck. Chomsky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sakara is keeping the position for now. Chomsky stays in close to Sakara's body and controls the position. Sakara has Chomsky pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sakara comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sakara. A nice left hand lands by Chomsky.

Chomsky throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sakaras head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sakara looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Sakara prevents a body shot from Chomsky. Chomsky displaying some good clinch control by pressing Sakara up against the cage. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Chomsky lands an uppercut. Sakara throws a punch but it's blocked by Chomsky. Sakara's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Chomsky blocking some punches.

Sakara is trying to maintain a safe position but Chomsky gets an underhook and turns Sakara into the cage. Sakara is leaning against Chomsky and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Chomsky swings wildly with an uppercut but Sakara uses good head movement to avoid it. Chomsky tries to stall but Sakara uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Noam Chomsky will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Chomsky shoots in for a takedown but Sakara shows good takedown defense. A jab from Sakara misses. Sakara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chomsky manages to avoid it. Chomsky checks a low kick from Sakara. Sakara paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sakara. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chomsky takes a body punch but keeps moving. Sakara pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Chomsky seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. A big right from Chomsky misses. Nice body punch from Sakara. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sakara throws a series of punches but Chomsky moves out of range.

Chomsky is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Sakara. Sakara takes a swing at Chomsky's ribcage but misses. Chomsky connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Sakara uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chomsky. Sakara looks to score with a jab to the body but Chomsky is just out of range. Chomsky tries to counter by clinching up but Sakara breaks away and moves out of range. Legionarivs Sakara is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sakara throws a body shot but no joy. Sakara checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Chomsky doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Chomsky on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Sakara takes a swing at Chomsky's ribcage but misses. Sakara misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sakara is trying to maintain a safe position but Chomsky gets an underhook and turns Sakara into the cage. Chomsky tries to throw a body punch but Sakara avoids it by throwing Chomsky back against the cage. Sakara takes a shot to the head. Sakara manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chomsky creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Sakara misses with a hook to the ribs.

Sakara moves into the clinch successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Still in the clinch, Chomsky scores with a nice short uppercut. Sakara tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chomsky's elbow. That's two minutes gone in the round. Chomsky is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sakara can't fight it off and eventually Chomsky manages to take the fight to the floor. Sakara looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sakara is trying to control the position but Chomsky postures up. Sakara looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chomsky is one step ahead there. Sakara lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chomsky bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sakara's guard. Chomsky wants to pass the guard but Sakara is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chomsky is fighting to break Sakara's control of his arms but Sakara is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Chomsky stopping the sweep attempt from Sakara. Chomsky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sakara is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sakara keeping moving, preventing Chomsky from controlling successfully. Chomsky working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Chomsky works over Sakara with some ground and pound from guard. Chomsky advances position into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sakara gets back to half guard. Chomsky passes to side control. Sakara is trying to work for a sweep but Chomsky has mounted him! Chomsky thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Chomsky trying to control but Sakara is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sakara wants to hold on but Chomsky pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Noam Chomsky. I think Chomsky has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Noam Chomsky! A less than humble Noam Chomsky misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
