Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirty Pure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dirty Pure!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pure.
Hunter looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Pure lands an overhand right.
Hunter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pure is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Joe Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Pure throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hunter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

A telegraphed right hand from Pure misses the target.
Pure swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hunter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A lazy left from Pure finds it's target.
Pure fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hunter manages to avoid it.
Pure cracks Hunter with a right hand to the side of the head.

Hunter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pure.
Pure connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Pure should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pure lands a jab to the nose.
Hunter dives in for a single leg takedown but Pure sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hunter on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Pure throws a good cross that connects.
Pure throws an overhand right that drops Hunter like a sack of potatoes! Pure dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dirty Pure!
Dirty Pure got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
