Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cas Maverick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ziba Halo!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maverick with a jab.
Maverick fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Maverick connects with an inside leg kick.

Maverick looks to land a left hand but Halo moved out of range nicely.
Halo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maverick lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Halo gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Halo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Maverick feints and then cracks Halo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Halo down.

Halo wants to slow Maverick down by chopping away at his legs.
Halo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Halo throws a hook to the side of Maverick's head but Maverick sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maverick is looking to counter punch.
Maverick's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Halo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Maverick scrambles back to his feet.

Halo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Halo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Maverick.
Maverick avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maverick checks a low kick from Halo.
Halo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Maverick eats them both and turns towards Halo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ziba Halo will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Maverick fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Halo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Halo lands a big head kick that sends Maverick tumbling to the mat! Halo takes a step backwards and waves Maverick back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Halo throws an overhand right that drops Maverick like a sack of potatoes! Halo dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ziba Halo!
Ziba Halo decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
