Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Francois Boullion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Einar Enkeltmann! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Enkeltmann is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boullion sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Boullion gets caught flat footed, as Enkeltmann shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Enkeltmann wants to control from the top but Boullion keeps moving. Boullion definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Enkeltmann is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Enkeltmann drops back looking for a leg! Boullion is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boullion manages to kick Enkeltmann off! Enkeltmann jumps back into Boullion's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Enkeltmann advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Enkeltmann is trying to get an arm triangle but Boullion is defending well. Enkeltmann is trying to get an arm triangle but Boullion is defending well. Boullion is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Enkeltmann asserts his dominance and retains side control. Enkeltmann thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boullion is trying to get back to half guard. Boullion on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Boullion tries to get out of the position. Boullion struggling a bit here. Enkeltmann has hold of Boullion's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Boullion seems comfortable defending it but Enkeltmann has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Boullion is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Boullion is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Enkeltmann couldn't care less - he's delighted!
