Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zoran Jolevi!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jolevi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Djin Djin manages to avoid it.
Djin Djin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Djin Djin moves out of range as Jolevi strikes.
Jolevi has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Djin Djin is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Jolevi is looking to clinch but Djin Djin is avoiding it.
Djin Djin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
No joy there for Jolevi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jolevi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Djin Djin.
Djin Djin throws a hook to the side of Jolevi's head but Jolevi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jolevi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Djin Djin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jolevi misses the shot to the body.
Good shot there by Jolevi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jolevi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jolevi slips a jab from Djin Djin.
Jolevi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Djin Djin.
Jolevi wants to counter with a clinch but Djin Djin pushes him away.
Djin Djin throws a big shot that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Jolevi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Djin Djin to the mat! Djin Djin manages to get full guard.
Djin Djin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jolevi is one step ahead there.
Jolevi trying to control but Djin Djin is working from the bottom.
Jolevi lands a couple of elbows.
Djin Djin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jolevi passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Jolevi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Djin Djin is not content to let Jolevi control the position.

Jolevi is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Djin Djin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jolevi gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Djin Djin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jolevi lets go of the hold and Djin Djin can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zoran Jolevi!
Zoran Jolevi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
In defeat, Bhola Djin Djin stepped up to the mic, saying 'Good luck to my opponent in the rest of the tournament.'.
