Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saan Shlamel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Barontini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barontini is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ride of the Valkyries. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Barontini lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Saan Shlamel has been cut.
Barontini throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shlamel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shlamel is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

Barontini throws a lazy right hand but Shlamel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Shlamel seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Shlamel fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Barontini bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shlamel's head backwards.

Shlamel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Barontini ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shlamel moves away.
Shlamel tries to counter with a takedown but Barontini is quick to defend against it.

Shlamel gets caught flat footed, as Barontini shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Barontini is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Oh Shlamel is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barontini is pushing down on Shlamel's leg trying to pass to half guard. Shlamel is fighting to maintain full guard but Barontini has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Let's hope that Barontini has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
