Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seeam Punc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Nehi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seeam Punc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Nehi! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nehi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Punc wants to control but Nehi is keeping busy and won't allow it. Punc actively working from the bottom here. Nehi not doing much here.
Punc is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nehi controlling the action here. Let's hope that Nehi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nehi not landing any meaningful shots this time. Nehi is looking for a kimura here.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nehi closes the distance and clinches. Nehi breaks the clinch.
Nehi fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Punc checks it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The fight stays on the outside here - Punc looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nehi feints the counter takedown. Punc is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nehi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Punc fails with an attempt to clinch.
Punc fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nehi manages to avoid it. Nehi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Punc did well to prevent Nehi getting side control. Nehi wants to free his trapped foot but Punc is holding on for dear life with his legs. Nehi sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Punc defending well though. Nehi tries to stand but can't do so whilst Punc controls his leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nehi in particular looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Punc is trying to maintain the position but Nehi is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nehi is taking a breather. Punc says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Nehi wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Punc gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nehi wants to pass the guard but Punc is keeping the position. Nehi stops Punc from standing up. Punc is breathing heavily. Punc will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Nehi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Nehi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nehi stays in close to Punc's body and controls the position. Punc might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nehi tries to free his leg and advance position but Punc is retaining full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Nehi dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nehi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Punc is trying to defend but Nehi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Nehi lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Punc could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Nehi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Nehi throwing shots but Punc is blocking nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Punc is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nehi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Nehi takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Nehi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Punc knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Nehi content to control rather than advance.

Punc won't allow Nehi to pass to mount. Nehi is looking for a kimura but Punc is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nehi to get the leverage. Nehi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Punc knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Nehi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Punc is looking to clinch. Nehi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. You can see the frustration on Punc's face as Nehi controls the position. Nehi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Punc to see if he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Punc regains half guard. Nehi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Nehi is looking for a kimura here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nehi tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Punc. Punc trying to control but Nehi postures up.

George Nehi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

No, Punc has escaped the position, nice work there. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Nehi controls the position. Nehi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Nehi working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Nehi working the ground and pound from side control. Punc is trying to improve his position. Nehi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Punc. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nehi stands up and beckons Punc to his feet. Punc gets tackled into the cage by Nehi. Nehi maintains the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nehi jumps guard and drags Punc to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Nehi is pulling down on Punc's head to control his posture. Nehi tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nehi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

And that's the end of the fight! George Nehi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nehi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
