Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Beltshazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Roumani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryan Beltshazar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ali Roumani! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roumani lands a nice shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Roumani. Beltshazar does a little dance to reset his feet. Roumani thows a left - swing and a miss! Roumani darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Beltshazar tries to roll over but Roumani keeps him under control. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Roumani in particular looking to stall. Beltshazar trying to control from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roumani stalling. It looks like Roumani might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roumani trying to control the action but Beltshazar is working from the bottom. Beltshazar is defending against the submission attempts here by Roumani.
Beltshazar tries to roll over but Roumani keeps him under control. Roumani is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Beltshazar has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Roumani wants to pass the guard but Beltshazar is defending well. Roumani stalling away here and it's allowed Beltshazar to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Roumani works a leg free and moves into half guard. Roumani has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Roumani tries to control but Beltshazar wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roumani content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Roumani has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Beltshazar tries to lock up and control but Roumani gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Roumani trying to control but he's not successful this time. Roumani moves to take his opponent's back. Roumani is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Beltshazar has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Roumani looking for the choke but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roumani working for the choke. Roumani working for the choke. Roumani slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
We've been hearing good reports from Beltshazar's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Beltshazar preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Roumani. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roumani is persistently looking for the submission but Beltshazar is defending it well.

Roumani misses with an uppercut. Roumani throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Beltshazar throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Roumani waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Beltshazar. Jab by Roumani. Beltshazar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Roumani looks like he wants to counter punch here. Beltshazar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Roumani missing with a left hand there. Beltshazar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Beltshazar fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Roumani on the side of the head. Roumani looks to throw the jab but Beltshazar is out of range. Beltshazar appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. That's one minute gone in the round. Roumani throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Beltshazar misses with a body shot.
Roumani now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Roumani tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beltshazar was well out of range. Poor timing from Roumani. Beltshazar lands a lovely overhand right. Beltshazar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Roumani has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Beltshazar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice defenses there by Beltshazar. Roumani takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Roumani shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Beltshazar napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Roumani advances nicely into full mount. Beltshazar is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roumani jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Beltshazar manages to avoid the submission attempt. Beltshazar is not content to let Roumani control the position. Roumani moves into full mount! Roumani trying to control but he's not successful this time. Beltshazar has given up his back.
Roumani has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roumani working for the choke. Well, with Roumani on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Beltshazar is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Roumani is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Roumani is looking for the choke from the back position but Beltshazar is controlling his hands well. Roumani is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Beltshazar is defending well though. Roumani let's go of the attempt for now.

Ali Roumani showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
A punch combination from Beltshazar misses. A nice side step and Roumani releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Beltshazar looks to land a combination but Roumani avoids it well. Roumani with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Beltshazar to score with a decent uppercut. Beltshazar thuds a left hand into Roumani's body. Sloppy strikes from Beltshazar. Those never looked like landing. Roumani let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Beltshazar takes a body punch but keeps moving. Beltshazar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Roumani. Roumani keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Roumani looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Roumani connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Roumani scores with a jab to the body. Beltshazar scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Roumani doesn't seem bothered though. Ryan Beltshazar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Roumani throws an overhand right that lands on Beltshazar's shoulder, as Beltshazar tries to avoid the shot. Roumani fails to land with a series of punches.

A countering left hand to the body from Roumani misses. Roumani lands with a hook. Beltshazar tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Beltshazar looks to score with a jab to the body but Roumani is just out of range. Roumani fails to land with a series of punches.
Beltshazar swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Beltshazar connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Roumani momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beltshazar throws a body shot but no joy. A little jabbing left from Roumani on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Roumani bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Beltshazar's head. Beltshazar lands with a straight right. Roumani didn't see that one coming. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roumani throws a big shot that misses. Beltshazar is looking to wear down Roumani with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Beltshazar misses with a series of wild punches.

Beltshazar lands with a cross. Beltshazar walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Beltshazar is rocked! Roumani thows a left - swing and a miss! Oh Beltshazar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Roumani is pawing at Beltshazar, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Beltshazar's nose. Beltshazar is badly hurt! Roumani pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Beltshazar tries desperately to hold on but Roumani is relentless in his assault! As Beltshazar receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Roumani away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ali Roumani! Ali Roumani decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
