Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackie McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jackie McGregor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Keller! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGregor fails with an attempt to clinch.
Keller shoots in and gets a takedown into McGregor's guard. McGregor looking for a sweep. Not yet McGregor, not yet. Keller passes McGregor's left leg - he's now in half guard. McGregor is looking to control Keller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McGregor avoid being mounted? Keller lands strikes from half guard. Keller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGregor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGregor manages to get to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. McGregor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Keller preventing the sweep. McGregor has his foot on Keller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Keller works his way back into a safe position though. McGregor working for a triangle but Keller defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McGregor working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Keller. McGregor trying to keep a closed guard but Keller is proving a slippery customer.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. McGregor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McGregor keeping moving, preventing Keller from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. McGregor throws a series of punches but Keller avoids them all with ease. McGregor lands a jab to Keller's midsection. Keller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. McGregor looking for a sweep. Not yet McGregor, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keller wants to control from the top but McGregor keeps moving. McGregor wants to stand but Keller is controlling the position. McGregor looking for a guillotine here but Keller defends easily.
McGregor lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Keller throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGregor trying to control but Keller is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McGregor trying to stand up but can't free himself from Keller's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jim Keller will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Keller takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. McGregor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Keller swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jackie McGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Keller drives through with a takedown into McGregor's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Keller stops McGregor from standing up. Keller decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on McGregor, up you get! Keller tries to land a body kick and McGregor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. McGregor lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Keller backs up against the cage.
Keller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McGregor was covering up waiting for the punch and Keller finishes the takedown easily into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! McGregor looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keller trying to control but McGregor is working from the bottom. McGregor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Keller wants to control from the top but McGregor keeps moving. Keller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Keller preventing the sweep. McGregor trying to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. McGregor connects with the punch.

The fight stays on the outside here - McGregor looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McGregor cracks Keller with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Keller tries to move into range but McGregor moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. McGregor cracks a nice hook into Keller's ribs. Donk. McGregor catches Keller right on the button with a cross. McGregor punishes Keller's body with a nice straight punch. McGregor is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Keller moves into the clinch. Keller gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. McGregor trying to keep a closed guard but Keller is proving a slippery customer.
McGregor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Keller's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keller wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jim Keller has got the better of the ground game so far. McGregor would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Keller keeping moving, preventing McGregor from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGregor forces his way into half guard. McGregor trying to control the action but Keller is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McGregor is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
McGregor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Keller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. McGregor is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Keller won't allow McGregor to pass to mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McGregor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
McGregor is working for a kimura but Keller is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jackie McGregor dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Keller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McGregor fails in his attempt to clinch. As McGregor backs off Keller throws a huge counter combo but McGregor manages to avoid it all. Keller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McGregor is looking to clinch. McGregor tries to sprawl but Keller drives through with a takedown into half guard. McGregor works his way to full guard. Good work. Keller won't allow McGregor to get back to his feet. McGregor controls Keller momentarily but Keller frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGregor is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Keller is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. McGregor wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Keller closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McGregor's guard. McGregor looking to control.
Keller tries to free his leg and advance position but McGregor is retaining full guard. Keller keeps trying to improve his position. McGregor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. McGregor moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McGregor is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Keller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McGregor working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. McGregor swings around for an armbar but Keller sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McGregor's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGregor wants to hit a switch here but Keller passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for McGregor there! McGregor slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Keller tries to pass the half guard into mount. McGregor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. McGregor wants to control but Keller is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. McGregor regains full guard. Nicely done. McGregor is trying to control the position but Keller postures up. McGregor throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
McGregor wants to sweep here but Keller controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Jim Keller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Keller has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
