The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hell Bringer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Damaskinos has momentary wrist control but Hell Bringer slips an elbow through the middle.

Hell Bringer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Damaskinos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hell Bringer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Damaskinos can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hell Bringer is taking a breather. Damaskinos says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hell Bringer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hell Bringer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hell Bringer scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Damaskinos is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hell Bringer can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
