Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Royce Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Piquette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner shoots in for a takedown but Piquette shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Piquette shoots in for a double leg but Turner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
As Piquette looks to move away, Turner throws a big counter combo bu Piquette just gets out of the way.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A close round but Wayne Piquette will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Piquette darts in looking for a takedown but Turner gets double underhooks and turns Piquette into the cage.
Piquette tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Turner defends well and Piquette ends up having to push Turner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Piquette is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Piquette drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Piquette jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Turner sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Piquette wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turner keeps working.
Piquette moves into full mount! Turner won't be happy about that!
Piquette unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Turner wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Piquette celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
