The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pu jabs Zangief to the body, keeping him at a distance.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Victor Zangief. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A quick step to the side and Zangief tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Pu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zangief circles away quickly and effectively.
Zangief changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pu tries to avoid it but Zangief manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pu to the ground. Pu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Pu counters with a nice uppercut.

Oh Zangief is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zangief on the side of the head.

Pu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Pu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zangief stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Pu drops his shoulder and cracks Zangief with a huge uppercut! Zangief goes down! Can Pu finish him?
