Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Plo Koon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lloyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lloyd has chosen Meniac by Michael Sembello as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Plo Koon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Lloyd!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koon throws a leg kick which misses Lloyd's front leg but catches the back leg as Lloyd tries to avoid it.
Lloyd with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Koon swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lloyd.

Koon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lloyd's guard.
Lloyd pulls Koon in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Koon throws a big right hand that misses.
Koon passes Lloyd's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Lloyd wants to control but Koon is keeping busy.
