Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yung Lean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yung Lean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Burns!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lean lands a glancing blow to the side of Burns's head.


It looks like James Burns has been cut.
Lean keeps Burns at a distance using the push kick.

Burns forces Lean back against the cage and clinches.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Lean managing to block the knees to the body from Burns.
Burns looking to throw knees to the head but Lean is blocking nicely.
Burns tries to pull guard but Lean forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Burns tries to pull guard but Lean won't allow it.
Burns has Lean pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lean manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Yung Lean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Burns.
Burns stalls.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lean breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Burns wants to clinch up but Lean keeps it at a distance.
Burns tries for a takedown but Lean circles away easily
and Lean counters with a one-two to the body.

Nice takedown defense from Lean. No joy for Burns on that attempt.
James Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burns walks into a straight right hand from Lean.
Burns walks into a stiff left hand from Lean.

Burns looking to score a takedown here. Lean is defending well but Burns drives through and ends up in Lean's guard.
Lean pulls Burns in close to prevent any damage.
Lean keeping moving, preventing Burns from controlling successfully.
Burns wants to pass the guard but Lean is keeping the position.

Lean is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Burns lands a couple of digs.
Burns tries to free his leg and advance position but Lean is retaining full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Yung Lean is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burns tries a head kick but it misses.
Burns closes the distance and clinches up with Lean, looking for a takedown. Burns pushes Lean against the cage but Lean circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lean scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Burns avoids a punch combination nicely.
Burns tries to counter by closing the distance.

Burns has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lean.
Lean throws a series of punches but Burns avoids them all with ease.
Burns is looking for the big counter here.
Burns tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lean lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Burns looks winded!
Lean cracks Burns with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Lean cracks a nice hook into Burns's ribs.
Lean scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Burns takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lean darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Burns looks to score with a jab to the body but Lean is just out of range.
Lean lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lean lands with a nice body punch.
Lean scores with the left hand. Burns knows he should have avoided that one.
Lean is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Lean keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lean tests Burns's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Burns has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Burns there as he acknowledges the shot.


That has opened up James Burns's cut even more.
Burns takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Burns gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lean thumps Burns with a low kick.

Lean cracks Burns with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Burns looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lean finish him?

Lean feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Burns sprawling to the canvas! Burns rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lean finish him?!


Burns is rocked!


The cut above James Burns's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Burns walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Burns is still on wobbly legs! Can Lean finish him?
Lean lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Burns seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Burns fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lean fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Lean scores with a decent looking hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yung Lean dominated that round.
The cut man is working on James Burns's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lean throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Burns stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Yung Lean is winning the standup battle so far.
Burns takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lean fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Burns.
Burns takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Lean connects with a body shot that sends Burns's belly button to the back.
Burns has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Lean scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Burns doesn't seem bothered though.
Lean digs a good body shot into Burns's ribs.
Lean smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Burns on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lean. Lean obviously looking to wear him down.
Lean throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Burns takes one on the chin but seems OK.


James Burns's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
James Burns is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Burns is breathing heavily.
Lean scores with a shot to the body.
Lean ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lean wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Burns wants to clinch
and Lean counters with a nice uppercut.

Lean lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Burns at a distance.
Burns looks to clinch
and Lean connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Burns doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Burns moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at James Burns's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Yung Lean!
Yung Lean was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
