Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Branson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Conrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Branson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Meytal Cohen - Toxicity. Conrad has chosen Rider Part II as his entrance music. Jack Conrad will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Conrad is stalling here.
Branson is trying to pull guard but Conrad has him pressed against the cage.
Branson successfully pulls guard.
Conrad looking to sit in guard and control but Branson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Branson wants to pass the guard but Conrad is keeping the position.
Conrad pulls Branson in close to prevent any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Branson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Conrad dives on top into guard.

Conrad is trying to control the action in half guard but Branson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Conrad postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Conrad lands a couple of digs.
Conrad working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Branson's head.
Branson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Conrad can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Branson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Branson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Conrad defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Branson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Conrad doesn't defend quickly enough and Branson has managed to lock this one up! Can Conrad escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Branson on a fantastic submission victory.
