Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaheim Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Gracie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jaheim Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Gracie! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Johnson takes a little break here. Gracie wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. An elbow from Johnson crashes against the mat.
Gracie throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Gracie tries to clinch there but Johnson circles away.
Johnson misses with a double jab
and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johnson won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gracie has control of an arm but Johnson manages to advance to Gracie's back! Gracie is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Gracie is trying to get back to his feet but Johnson has full control of the position and if anything, Gracie has just worked his way into a worse spot. Johnson avoiding Gracie 's attempts to control his hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie manages to stand up with Johnson still on his back. Eventually Johnson drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position. Gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johnson to the mat! Johnson manages to get full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie gets to his feet. Johnson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Gracie misses with a few strikes there.
Gracie swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson. Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie throws a head kick that misses. Johnson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gracie's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Johnson is aware though and is defending well. Gracie throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Gracie working for a triangle but Johnson defends it easily.
Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson being controlled here momentarily. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are working up against the cage. Gracie manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson misses with a knee strike.
Gracie drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Johnson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gracie avoids it. Johnson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Gracie sneaks out the side door and pushes Johnson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Johnson wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance. Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into Johnson's guard. Johnson is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracie is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Gracie advances to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Gracie dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away. Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into Gracie's guard. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gracie is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Johnson has his hands clasped together but Gracie extends and breaks Johnson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gracie.
