Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Hass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harry Rock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Martin Hass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harry Rock! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hass throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rock's head.
That has opened up Harry Rock's cut even more. Rock looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Hass closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hass lands in his opponent's guard. Hass advances position into side control! Rock is looking to reverse the position. Hass scoring with punches from side control. Hass landing strikes. Hass is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Hass is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rock is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hass stands up. Hass looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rock being controlled here, momentarily. Hass is in close to Rock's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hass stopping the sweep attempt from Rock. Hass is pushing down on Rock's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rock is fighting to maintain full guard but Hass has managed to sneak the leg through. Hass wants to control but Rock is keeping him busy. Hass is working for a submission of some sort.
Hass wants to work for an arm triangle but Rock is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hass is looking for a kimura but Rock is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hass to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hass decides to return to a standing position. Rock gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hass trying to control but Rock is working from the bottom. Hass passes Rock's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hass has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hass looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rock with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hass is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rock is just riding it out for now. Hass eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hass content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hass stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Hass has Rock up against the cage in a clinch.
Hass has hold of one of Rock's legs. Rock is fighting the takedown attempt but Hass gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Hass trying to control the position from guard on top but Rock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hass passes Rock's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Rock is defending against the submission attempts here by Hass.
Rock has a hand on Hass's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hass takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hass looking to secure an arm triangle but Rock defends it well. Rock defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hass. Hass trying to control but Rock is having none of it. Rock is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hass working for a submission but Rock is keeping him at bay. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Hass dominated that round. The cut man is working on Harry Rock's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hass closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rock to the mat! Rock manages to get full guard. Hass forces his way into half guard. Hass stands up and beckons Rock to join him on the feet. Hass feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hass drops back looking for a leg! Rock is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rock manages to kick Hass off! Hass jumps back into Rock's guard. Hass stands up from Rock's guard - Hass perhaps looking for a knockout. Hass's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Hass duly obliges. Rock is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hass closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hass successfully pulls guard.
Hass had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rock is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hass Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rock's back instead. Hass is punishing Rock with strikes - can he finish him?! Hass has good solid back control here. Hass's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Hass scores with punches and elbows. Hass looking for the RNC.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rock covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Martin Hass overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hass working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Rock is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Hass has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Rock taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Martin Hass!
