The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from St Andre.
St Andre is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Montoya with a body shot.

Montoya pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Montoya shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and St Andre counters with a nice low kick that buckles Montoya's knee momentarily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Montoya looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Montoya is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. St Andre defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
St Andre tries to escape but Montoya has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Montoya is cranking St Andre's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for St Andre! He's tightened the choke and St Andre is tapping out!

Hidalgo Montoya decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
