Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arlen Henderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ammon Jerro!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jerro darts in and clinches Henderson up against the cage.
Henderson jumps guard but Jerro turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Jerro gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Jerro passes into half guard.
Henderson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Jerro is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Jerro wants to pass the guard but Henderson is defending well.
Jerro moves into full mount! Henderson won't be happy about that!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jerro content just to control the position here.
Jerro's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Henderson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jerro.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jerro is trying to take his opponent's back.
Jerro controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like Jerro might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Jerro wants to take Henderson's back but he can't do it this time.
Jerro controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jerro blocks Henderson's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Jerro takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
I would not like to be Henderson right now.
Henderson looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jerro keeps control of the position easily here as Henderson tries to buck him off.

Jerro is continuing to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jerro has his arm under Henderson's chin here. Game over son! Jerro squeezes tightly and Henderson is forced to tap out!
