Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Fantana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Dynamo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fantana might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Sex Panther Is Out Tonight - Barry White feat. Brian Fantana. The crowd seem to be enjoying Dynamo's choice of entrance music: Sunrise (Here I Am) by Matt Davey feat. Kate Dowman. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rick Dynamo!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dynamo misses the shot to the body.
Fantana half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Fantana ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Dynamo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fantana quickly recovers to half guard.
Fantana is trying to control but can't.
Dynamo is taking a breather. Fantana says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dynamo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fantana keeps working.
Dynamo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fantana's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dynamo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fantana does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dynamo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dynamo.
Dynamo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fantana swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dynamo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fantana tries to avoid it but Dynamo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fantana to the ground. Fantana escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fantana's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dynamo under the eye.
Fantana fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fantana feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dynamos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
