The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mueller tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tate defends well and Mueller ends up having to push Tate into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tate keeps the fight on the outside.
Tate shoots in for a takedown but Mueller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mueller fakes the leg kick and cracks Tate in the body.
Tate dives in for a single leg takedown but Mueller sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
