Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samson Wade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Monster Hero!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hero. Hero obviously looking to wear him down.
Hero scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Wade throws a big shot that misses.
Wade lands a slapping body shot.
Wade bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hero's head.
It looks like Monster Hero has been cut.
Hero scores with a leg kick.
Hero looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wade is fending him off so far but Hero persists. Nope, Wade circles away and we're back to standing.
Monster Hero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hero throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wade's waist but Wade gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hero off to one side.
Hero misses with a jab to the body
and Wade counters with a hugh head kick that removes Hero from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Samson Wade!
