Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Kung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kobe Bryant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefan Kung! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kung shoots in looking for a takedown. Bryant tries to sprawl out of it but Kung keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bryant manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kung ducks under a wild hook from Bryant. Kung with the counter takedown but Bryant avoids it easily. Kung shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bryant as he avoids it easily. Bryant throws a combination. Kung tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Bryant lands a nice hook to Kung's body. Kung takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Bryant swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kung fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bryant avoids it really well and circles away. Kobe Bryant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stefan Kung. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice takedown defense from Bryant. No joy for Kung on that attempt. Kung shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bryant's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Kung is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kung trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bryant seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Kung trying to control but Bryant is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kung accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kung postures up in Bryant's guard and throws a big left but Bryant blocks it. Kung controls from within his opponent's guard. Kung trying to control but Bryant is working from the bottom. Kung slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kung tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bryant swivels and escapes. Bryant rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kung moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kobe Bryant is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bryant throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kung counters with a shoot takedown. Bryant fights it but they end up in guard. Kung wants to control from the top but Bryant keeps moving. Kung's corner is telling him to maintain position. Let's hope that Kung has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Kung pushes down on Bryant's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bryant is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kung scores with a couple of nice shots. Kung has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bryant is refusing to be controlled, as Kung sits in half guard. Kung content to control rather than advance. Kung is trying to control the action in half guard but Bryant is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kung is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bryant misses with an uppercut. Kung saw that one coming. Bryant tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kung was well out of range. Poor timing from Bryant. Bryant circles away from the clinch attempt.
A punch combination from Bryant misses. Kung changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Bryant moves into range and connects with a jab. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kung is defended easily by Bryant. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kung gets a clinch. A short left from Bryant. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kobe Bryant will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Kobe Bryant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bryant gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kung to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kung is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bryant not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bryant throws a series of punches but Kung avoids them all with ease. Bryant connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bryant looks to land a left hand but Kung moved out of range nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kung dives in and grabs Bryant's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bryant pushes down on Kung's head and hops out. Bryant appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kobe Bryant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stefan Kung. Bryant scores with a decent looking hook. Kung jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kung wants to clinch. Bryant throws a lazy right hand but Kung sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bryant misses with a hook
and Kung counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kung. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kung wants to pass the guard but Bryant is keeping the position. Kung not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bryant keeping moving, preventing Kung from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kung is stalling in the full guard. Kung stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bryant swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bryant blocks a jab. Kung gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kung takes a swing at Bryant's ribcage but misses. Kung shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bryant pinned against the cage. Bryant gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kung uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bryant. Kung on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kobe Bryant is winning the standup battle so far. Bryant fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kung looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Bryant jabbing away but nothing is landing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kung. Bryant just misses with a punch to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kobe Bryant dominated that second round. That's time! Bryant's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Kung shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kung with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Kung is pressing down on Bryant's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bryant is holding on for now. Stefan Kung has got the better of the ground game so far. Kung is trying to control the action in half guard but Bryant is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kung is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Kung trying to control the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kung closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bryant circles away. Bryant misses with an uppercut. Bryant throws a jab but it's blocked by Kung. Kung is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bryant lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kung shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bryant as he jumps to the side. Kung shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bryant pinned against the cage. Bryant gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kobe Bryant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stefan Kung. Kung tries for a takedown but Bryant sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bryant stuffs the takedown attempt from Kung. Kung gets slowly back to his feet. Bryant throws a jab but it's blocked by Kung. And Kung tries to counter it with a takedown but Bryant pushes his down on his head and steps out. Kung tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bryant swivels and escapes. Kung uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bryant. Bryant leaves Kung with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bryant lands a really nice looking cross but Kung seems unphased.
Bryant ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Bryant throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kung sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kung shoots in for a double leg but Bryant sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bryant misses with a wild body shot. Kung drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bryant defends it well. Kobe Bryant is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bryant scores with a punch to the head. Bryant lands with an overhand left. Bryant lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Bryant throws a shot from downtown. Kung moves away and avoids it. Bryant lands a jab to the head.
Bryant is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Kung shoots in but no luck this time. Bryant lands a nice shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kung on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Kung uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bryant.
Kung drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bryant defends it well. Kung fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bryant avoids it really well and circles away. Bryant goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Bryant scores with a sloppy right hand. Kung should have avoided that one. Kung looks for a takedown but Bryant sprawls well. Stefan Kung has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bryant looks to land a right hand but Kung moved out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Kobe Bryant showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bryant, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
