Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ska Asap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Barontini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barontini comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ride of the Valkyries kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 4 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Ska Asap!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mario Barontini!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barontini gets caught napping as Asap dives in and scores a takedown. Barontini manages to retain guard.
Barontini wants to stand up but Asap is controlling him.
Barontini is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Asap trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Asap stands and throws Barontini's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Asap wants to control but Barontini is keeping him busy.
Asap wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Barontini, who protects the arm well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Asap cracks Barontini with a big right hand but Barontini just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Asap is looking to take a break and control but Barontini is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barontini can't do much from the bottom here.
Asap tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Asap has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Barontini really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Asap. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Barontini is not content to let Asap control the position.
Asap has hold of Barontini's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Barontini tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Asap cranks the arm and Barontini screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Barontini, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ska Asap!
After the big win, Ska Asap made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Vikai Gear and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
