The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferdum fails to land the takedown.
Ferdum throws a nice looking combination but Robinson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ferdum scores with a nice head shot.
Ferdum swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ferdum tries to clinch but Robinson is having none of it.
Ferdum tries to close the distance and clinch up but Robinson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
As Ferdum looks to move away, Robinson throws a big counter combo bu Ferdum just gets out of the way.
Robinson dives in and grabs Ferdum's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ferdum pushes down on Robinson's head and hops out.
Robinson doesn't manage to clinch there - Ferdum circles away.
Ferdum swats away the attempt to clinch by Robinson.
Robinson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ferdum is staying active underneath Robinson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Robinson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ferdum on the ground.
