Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vin Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Beats (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vin Diesel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Beats! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beats pushes Diesel up against the cage in a clinch. Diesel looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! A head punch on the inside from Beats fails to land. Diesel has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Beats after a bit of a struggle. Beats is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Diesel is keeping busy. Beats is working for takedown but Diesel is calmly controlling the position for now. A battle for position here, against the cage. Diesel has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Beats is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Beats connects with a nasty looking knee right to Diesel's face.
It looks like Vin Diesel has been cut. Beats tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Diesel smiles and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beats is looking to clinch. Diesel is looking for a counter combo. Beats fails to land with a series of punches.
Beats throws a combination that misses and Diesel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Beats won't be happy with that. This has been an exciting period of action! Diesel is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Beats has escaped the position, nice work there. Beats tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diesel looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Beats wants to get back to his feet but Diesel drags him back down. Beats tries to buck Diesel off but Diesel is having none of it. Diesel throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Diesel tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Beats is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Diesel working away. Beats is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Diesel thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Beats is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Diesel has just dragged him back down to the mat. Diesel working away. Beats is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Beats is looking to escape. Diesel is thwarting Beats's attempts to control the position. Beats punching from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Diesel takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Beats instigates a clinch. Beats manages to break the clinch.
Beats clinches up with Diesel and pushes him back against the cage.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vin Diesel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beats has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Diesel is trying to keep an underhook but Beats manages to get the takedown into half guard. Beats tries to stand but can't do so whilst Diesel controls his leg. Beats wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diesel keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. That's four minutes gone in the round. Diesel is in trouble now - Beats has advanced to mount! Beats lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Beats tries to control but Diesel wriggling away. Beats scoring with strikes but Diesel is staying in there. Beats is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Diesel is surviving well by controlling Beats's body position as best he can. Beats lands a heavy elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Beats is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Diesel to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Diesel shrugs it off. Beats working Diesel over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Diesel keeps the fight on the outside. Beats is looking to take this fight into the clinch. No luck for Diesel with that takedown attempt. Beats throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Beats fails with an attempt to clinch.
Diesel appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Beats tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Diesel tries to counter by clinching up but Beats breaks away and moves out of range. Beats clinches. Beats jumps guard but Diesel stands there with Beats around his waist. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Diesel walks away with a smile on his face. Beats gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

They are putting on a show! Diesel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Beats pulls his leg out and moves away.

Despite the aggression on Beats's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Jay Beats seems to be getting the better of the standup. Diesel takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Diesel avoids a punch combination nicely.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Diesel prevents Beats from improving his position. Beats is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Diesel pulls his head out easily. Beats felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Diesel is working for a kimura but Beats is defending it quite comfortably.
