Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aziz Shavershian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shavershian has chosen John O'callaghan - Zyzz Version V2, - Find Yourself feat. Sarah Howells (Re as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that William Lord has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily William Lord seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord throws a right hand that Shavershian ducks under and follows up with a left that Shavershian also avoids with ease.
Shavershian walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lord checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Shavershian lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Lord misses with a straight right.
A countering left hand to the body from Shavershian misses.
Lord swats away the attempt to clinch by Shavershian.
Lord throws a leg kick but Shavershian sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Shavershian lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Shavershian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lord.

Shavershian does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lord appears to be looking for a big counter.
Shavershian stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lord.
Shavershian shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Shavershian uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lord.
Shavershian checks a low kick from Lord.

A counter left hand to the body from Lord misses its target.
Shavershian swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Shavershian shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lord ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lord lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Shavershian misses with a wild body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lord. Shavershian does a little dance to reset his feet.

Shavershian thuds his right hand into Lord's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lord.
Lord throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shavershian was covering up waiting for the punch and Lord finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lord works over Shavershian with some ground and pound from guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shavershian looking for a guillotine here but Lord defends easily.
Shavershian wants to get back to his feet but Lord is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lord lands a couple of elbows.

Lord has been working on his balance at Sanitarium, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Shavershian.

Shavershian gets caught napping as Lord dives in and scores a takedown. Shavershian manages to retain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lord lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Lord.

Lord drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Shavershian is in real trouble here! Lord lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Lord is delighted!
