Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alan Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiang Cheng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jiang Cheng told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheng throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sanchez was covering up waiting for the punch and Cheng finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cheng stops Sanchez from standing up.
Sanchez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sanchez thows a huge punch but Cheng dodges it nicely.

Cheng is trying to stand back up but Sanchez is controlling him
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Cheng blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sanchez.
Sanchez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Sanchez is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cheng is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
