Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doom lands with a right hand.
Baskins shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Doom blocking the ground and pound attempt from Baskins.
Baskins performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Baskins thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Baskins throwing shots but Doom is blocking nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baskins takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baskins tries to pass to full mount but Doom defends it.
Baskins is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Baskins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Doom is looking to escape.

Baskins slips a nice elbow through Doom's hands, connecting with Doom's forehead.
It looks like Jack Doom has been cut.
Baskins is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Baskins lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Baskins is nestled in close to Doom, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Jack Doom's cut is getting worse.
Baskins thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Doom's head.
Doom regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Baskins.
Baskins seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Baskins connects with a couple of short punches.
Jeez, Jack Doom's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jack Doom's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
