Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Vadokowich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Strange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vadokowich comes into the arena with Metallica - Enter Sandman blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Strange!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strange looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Strange throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vadokowich works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Vadokowich looking to hit a scissor sweep but Strange is one step ahead there.
Vadokowich controlling the position.
Vadokowich definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Strange working some strikes from top position.
Strange throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vadokowich works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Vadokowich pulls Strange in close to his closed guard and prevents Strange from doing any damage or advancing position.
Strange connects with a couple of short punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Strange stands and throws Vadokowich's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Vadokowich wants to control but Strange postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vadokowich is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Strange throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Strange has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Vadokowich is looking for a sweep.
Strange has hold of Vadokowich's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Vadokowich tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Strange cranks the arm and Vadokowich screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Vadokowich, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Simon Strange!
After winning the bout, Simon Strange thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Vadim Vadokowich was interviewed post fight and said 'Give it up for my opponent! I come to fight every time!'.
