Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lei Kung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sher Shah Suri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lei Kung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sher Shah Suri! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suri looks to land a combination but Kung avoids it well. Suri's coach down at aLion's MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Suri's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kung misses with a kick to the body.
Kung throws a front kick that sends Suri stumbling back into the cage. Kung misses with a left hand enabling Suri to counter with a crisp jab. Kung throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kung ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. We've been hearing reports that Kung has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Kung fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Suri is out of range. Suri lands with a nice body punch. Kung cracks a nice hook into Suri's ribs. Suri shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kung's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kung is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Suri working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kung has his hands on Suri's head, controlling the position. Kung escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Suri gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suri lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Suri preventing the sweep. Suri with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Suri working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Suri not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kung is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Suri is aware though and is defending well. Suri slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. You can see the frustration on Kung's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kung gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Suri prevents Kung from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kung regains full guard. Nicely done. Suri is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Suri stopping the sweep attempt from Kung.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suri connects with a couple of short punches. Suri slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Suri landing with the ground and pound. Kung has his hands on Suri's head, controlling the position. Suri throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kung throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Suri swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Suri checks a low kick from Kung. A telegraphed right hand from Kung misses the target. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Suri, as that shot connected.
Kung moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kung throws a low kick but Suri moves out of range easily. Suri lands a nice hook to Kung's body. Kung takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kung ducks under a wild hook from Suri. Suri throws a hook to the side of Kung's head but Kung sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. And Kung counters with a quick kick to the body but Suri blocks it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Suri. As Suri backs away, Kung returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Suri connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kung. Kung circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A chopping leg kick lands by Kung. Lei Kung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A bone on bone clash there as Suri blocks the leg kick.
Kung throws a front kick aimed at Suri's knee but Suri avoids it well. Kung throws a leg kick that misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kung lands with a straight right. Suri didn't see that one coming. Nice cross by Kung. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sher Shah Suri will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kung feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Suri's calf. Danga de danga de dang - Suri scores with a four punch combination! Suri checks a leg kick nicely. Suri keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kung cracks Suri with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A looping hook to the body misses from Kung. Suri does a little dance to reset his feet. Kung is looking to slow Suri down with leg kicks. Kung looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Suri is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kung. Suri scores with a jab to the body. A jab from Suri misses. Kung keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kung lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A jab from Suri does it's job there. Kung misses with a two punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kung throws a body kick that misses and Suri connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Suri slips a straight right by Kung. Suri swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Suri avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Kung stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Suri has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kung. Kung throws a leg kick and Suri connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kung steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Suri. Suri is looking to clinch. Suri on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Suri throws a hook but Kung avoids it easily. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kung. Kung moves into range and connects with a jab. Suri scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kung sizes up Suri with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Suri cracks Kung with an uppercut from hell and Kung crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Suri's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Kung is rocked! Suri with a nice head shot there. Oh Kung is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Suri trying to control but Kung is working from the bottom. Kung looking to hit a scissor sweep but Suri is one step ahead there. Suri's corner is telling him to maintain position. Kung looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kung seems to have got his legs back now. Kung has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Suri can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kung not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Suri wants to control from the top but Kung keeps moving. Suri keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kung's head. Suri distracts Kung with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suri wants to control from the top but Kung keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Suri accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Suri is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kung is looking for a triangle but Suri pushes his legs off easily.
Kung looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kung is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Suri defends well. Kung bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Suri's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suri tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kung trying to control the position from guard on top but Suri is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Suri controlling the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Suri is on top in guard.
Suri landing with the ground and pound. Suri with a nice head shot there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kung is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Suri trying to control but Kung postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Sher Shah Suri will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Kung closes the distance and pushes Suri back into the cage. Kung misses with a body punch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kung. Kung misses with a hook to the ribs.
Suri tries to throw a body punch but Kung avoids it by throwing Suri back against the cage. Suri misses with a hook from the clinch. Kung takes a shot to the head. Suri softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Kung swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kung swings wildly with an uppercut but Suri uses good head movement to avoid it. Suri tries for a takedown but Kung manages to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kung misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A head punch on the inside from Kung fails to land. Suri throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Suri lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Suri is trying to pull guard but Kung has him pressed against the cage. Kung misses with the head strike.
A nice right hand lands inside from Suri.

Kung is working Suri over against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Suri creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kung lands a left hand that snaps the head of Suri backwards. Kung blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Suri misses with a body punch.
Suri lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kung backwards. Sher Shah Suri seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Kung struggles to land a body shot inside as Suri controls his hands.

Kung has a couple of punches blocked by Suri.

Kung digs a right hand into Suri's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Suri's gas tank. Suri blocks an uppercut.
Suri has had enough of the clinch but Kung keeps him there for the moment. Suri goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Suri tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kung's elbow. Suri lands a shoulder strike. Lei Kung has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Still in the clinch, Suri scores with a nice short uppercut. Suri prevents a body shot from Kung. Suri lands a hook to the side of the head. Suri misses with a punch on the inside.
Suri lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kung backwards. Suri misses with some punches.

Suri bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kung's guard. Kung wants to sweep but no luck. Kung controls Suri momentarily but Suri frees himself. Suri working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Kung is trying to control the position but Suri postures up. Suri lands a couple of digs. Suri wants to pass the guard but Kung is keeping the position. Suri throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kung works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suri works over Kung with some ground and pound from guard. Suri controlling from the top position. Suri with a flurry of punches that miss. Kung avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Suri accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sher Shah Suri is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kung dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Suri. That did some damage! Kung throws a leg kick but Suri sees it coming and checks it nicely. Kung thumps Suri with a low kick. Kung thows a left - swing and a miss! Suri scores with a body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Sher Shah Suri comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Suri has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
