Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saan Shlamel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quin Kenobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quin Kenobi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quin Kenobi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shlamel lands a two punch combo.
Shlamel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kenobi's calf.
Shlamel lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kenobi checks a low kick from Shlamel.
A thudding body kick lands there by Shlamel!
Kenobi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Shlamel has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ironfist MMA in the buildup to the fight.
A left lands for Shlamel.
A decent looking cross lands there for Shlamel.
Kenobi shoots in looking for a takedown. Shlamel tries to sprawl out of it but Kenobi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shlamel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shlamel connects with a solid leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice inside leg kick there by Shlamel. That's going to slow Kenobi down.
Kenobi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Shlamel.

so Kenobi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Shlamel wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Shlamel is looking for a sweep. Kenobi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Shlamel is refusing to be controlled, as Kenobi sits in half guard.

Shlamel swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kenobi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Kenobi shoots in but no luck this time.
Shlamel throws a low kick, looking for Kenobi's leg but Kenobi calmly moves out of range.

Shlamel lands with a thumping leg kick.
Shlamel throws a chopping leg kick but Kenobi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kenobi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Shlamel misses with a head kick.
A nice side step and Kenobi releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Kenobi shoots in for a takedown but Shlamel shows good takedown defense.
As Kenobi looks to move away, Shlamel throws a big counter combo bu Kenobi just gets out of the way.
Nice takedown defense from Shlamel. No joy for Kenobi on that attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kenobi is defended easily by Shlamel.
Kenobi thows a left - swing and a miss!
Shlamel throws a low kick but Kenobi avoids it.
Kenobi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Shlamel.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Saan Shlamel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shlamel throws a head kick that Kenobi semi-blocks.
Shlamel tried to score with a low kick but Kenobi checks it.
Kenobi doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shlamel counters with a crisp one two that drops Kenobi! Shlamel thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kenobi to his feet! Kenobi is in big trouble!
Kenobi is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saan Shlamel dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kenobi takes one to the side of the head.
Kenobi is still on wobbly legs! Can Shlamel finish him?
Saan Shlamel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Shlamel lands with a thumping leg kick.
Saan Shlamel is winning the standup battle so far.
Shlamel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kenobi dives in for a single leg takedown but Shlamel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Shlamel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kenobi.
Kenobi seems to have recovered his senses.

Shlamel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kenobi.
Shlamel lands a really nice looking cross but Kenobi seems unphased.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Shlamel unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Kenobi! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Shlamel is unloading with more strikes now! Kenobi drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saan Shlamel!
A relieved looking Saan Shlamel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
